COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --For the 107th year, volunteers will don white coveralls Saturday and head for one of more than 80 Columbus-area street-corners to sell newspapers.
The idea was born in 1907, when three men noticed a boy out in the cold, selling papers to help his family. Since then, Charity Newsies has helped clothe more than 500,000 children in Central Ohio.
Charity Newsies is always looking for more volunteers. To learn more about the organization or to locate your favorite Charity Newsies intersection, click here.
