Man charged with tampering with evidence in murder case

COLUMBUS, Ohio (ABC6/WTVN) -- A man has been charged with tampering with evidence after deputies say he admitted to removing shell castings from a stolen SUV that belonged to a limo driver

The driver was shot to death Tuesday evening after 6:00 at a Dublin trailer park on Cosgray Road

Brian Jones, 41, has been charged with theft and tampering with evidence. Investigators say he took off with the driver's black Chevy SUV.

Jones was found at a west Columbus hotel Friday morning with the stolen vehicle.

Jones told deputies that someone else shot the limo driver, 49 year-old Paul Devitt.

Jones said he was in the SUV when the shooting happened.

Detectives are still trying to find the triggerman.
