COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --A Columbus man has been picked up in connection with a northeast-side shooting Sunday afternoon in which a bullet pierced a home and hit a woman inside.
Tracy Humphrey, 50, was in the bedroom of her home in the 2200 block of Brentnell Blvd. just after 5:30 p.m. when, police say, one of two people walking down the street fired a number of shots into the home.
After one of the bullets hit Humphrey, the two suspects ran off but were taken into custody nearby.
David J. Thomas, 18, of Loretta Ave., was charged as the one who fired the gun.
Humphrey was taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
